PRODUCT DETAILS
Inspired by the memory of entering a French pastry shop, The Nectar swirls with the sweet scents of honeycomb, orange syrup and brioche, balanced by a soft touch of spice. Sumptuously sweet and complex, it's packed with nectar-like flavours that are not usually found in a single malt Scotch whisky.
To achieve this delectable flavour profile, Glenmorangie aged the whisky for 16 years in bourbon casks and sweet white wine casks from France, Spain and Hungary, for a stunning dessert-like complexity with a long and lingering finish

BLEND AND ORIGIN
Using silky smooth, creamy Glenmorangie from ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is then finished in a range of white wine casks, which combine to offer a stunningly sweet taste experience. Sauternes and Monbazillac casks from France contribute the sumptuous pastry, brioche, meringue and baked apple notes.
Moscatel casks from Spain give some cake and sweet, syrupy dessert-like notes, while Tokaji casks from Hungary contribute white chocolate, almond and honeycomb flavours to the final blend recipe. As a finishing touch, the whisky is non-chill filtered to develop additional character and mouthfeel.
